Notes. Ranking is time-first (region, start_at) then boosted by
friend activity — never by raw popularity, because "142 interested" helps nobody decide. Cards are
full-bleed to the device edge: the photo is the product, and boxing it in a rounded card would make
three events look like three widgets. Card three shows the honest degradation — when no friend is
going, the row drops to a plain count rather than manufacturing social proof. The alias on card two
is a private host seen by a stranger; a friend sees the real name in that exact slot.
